Zetatek Empowers Agnikul: A Space Tech Milestone!

Ltd., a startup pushing the boundaries of space exploration. Agnikul recently launched “Agnibaan – SOrTeD”, the world’s first rocket powered by a fully 3D-printed engine. This historic launch from the private “Dhanush” facility in Sriharikota is a major milestone for India’s space sector. Behind this success lies meticulous preparation and advanced technology, including a motion simulator provided by Zetatek Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

In July 2022, Zetatek delivered a state-of-the-art single-axis rate table to Agnikul at the IIT Madras Research Park in Chennai. Formerly known as Motion Dynamic, Zetatek has a proven record of supplying high-performance systems to global defence and aerospace sectors. Their unique modular design ensures superior accuracy and performance. The simulator played a crucial role in calibrating and testing Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs) and Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) used in Agnikul’s rockets. These components measure and maintain orientation, velocity, and acceleration during flight. Accurate systems are essential for mission success and safety.

Zetatek’s partnership ensured Agnikul’s IMUs and INS were rigorously tested and calibrated to meet high standards of precision. The simulator’s capabilities allowed Agnikul to simulate various dynamic conditions, providing insights into system performance under real-world conditions. Zetatek also supplied Agnikul with a tactical-grade, non-GPS Aided IMU, enhancing their capabilities with precise measurements for guiding and stabilizing spacecraft.
