Thermal Shock Chamber

Combining over two decades of experience in the design and manufacturing of environmental test chambers, these Thermal Shock Chambers from Zetatek offers brilliant design, exceptional build quality, performance and reliability at economical prices.

Test chambers of sizes varying from 27 litres to 1000 litres are available with temperature range from -70 °C to +180 °C. These chambers consist of two-compartment, one set to low temperature and the other set to a high temperature. Specimen is tested by moving it from one compartment to the other over a short period of time.

These chambers can be used anywhere from research and development to production purposes or even for quality testing. From circuit boards to satellites and missiles, from mechanical components to cars, any specimen can be subject and qualified to various environmental condition. Our chambers find their paramount application in industries such as defence, aerospace, automotive and electronics.


Light Weight

The chamber body is made entirely out of sheet metal which helps in reducing weight.

Mesh Protection

A removable mesh is provided all around the basket in order to protect thespecimen from getting caught on the chamber walls during basket movement.

Basket Movement

The basket movement is achieved with the help of a bevel gear driven by an electric motor. This ensures smooth and steady transfer of the specimen between the hot and cold chambers.


Multilayer Composite insulation with rock wool and phenolic foam is used to provide resistance against high and low temperature with only 100mm insulation thickness.

Convenient Latch

The door can be easily engaged and disengaged with an elegant rotary latch.

Traveling Port Hole

A travelling port connects external cables to the test specimen inside the basketduring testing. These ports are sealed with soft silicon to avoid thermalleakages.


The outer panels are powder coated for corrosion-resistance and aesthetic appeal.


The test space is made from Stainless Steel 304 which provides excellent resistance to corrosion. A mirror finish is provided to elevate the aesthetic look. The inner tank is welded airtight so that moisture does not leak into the insulation.
