Thermal Mechanical Chamber

Thermal Mechanical Chambers are designed to simulate temperatures while a tensile load is being applied on the specimen. This facilitates in determining the resistance to varying conditions of temperature and load that a specimen may experience during its life cycle. The thermal mechanical chamber can also be used to determine the maximum loading for failure at varying temperature conditions. Features

Mechanical Structure

Standalone steel structure with one end mated with hydraulic cylinder and otheris a fixed end. The structure can withstand mechanical load of over 50 Ton

Light Weight

The chamber body is made entirely out of sheet metal which helps in reducing weight.

Exterior

The outer panels are powder coated for corrosion-resistance and aesthetic appeal.

Interior

The test space is made from Stainless Steel 304 which provides excellent resistance to corrosion. A mirror finish is provided to elevate the aesthetic look. The inner tank is welded airtight so that moisture does not leak into the insulation.

Insulation

Multilayer Composite insulation with rock wool and phenolic foam is used to provide resistance against high and low temperature with only 100mm insulation thickness.

Ports Hole

Access port is provided for connecting cables to the test specimen inside the test space during testing. Ports Holes are covered with soft silicon sealing ports to avoid thermal leakages.

Hydraulic Power Pack

The tensile load is applied on the specimen with the help of a hydraulic actuator.Loads of up to 50 Tons can be applied with precise control.
